On July 2–3, against the timeless backdrop of Cairo’s pyramids, Global Grain MENA 2025 is bringing together leading voices in grain to explore market dynamics, investment flows, and the policies shaping one of the world’s most vital consumption regions.
Today, Valerii Liulchenko, Co-Founder and CCO at Atria Brokers, takes the stage during the panel “Temple of Wheat 2025/26: The Black Sea Grain Quest to MENA,” moderated by Christina Serebriakova, CEO at ASAP Agri. His message was clear:
“With the EU market tightening, MENA becomes the logical next focus for Ukrainian wheat. We’re already seeing rising demand from key buyers — Egypt, for example, is moving toward 13 million tons. But competition is strong. To stay visible in this region, we need to remain competitive on price, be consistent in logistics and active in every tender.”
The opportunity to address the challenges and hear others do the same is only possible thanks to events like this. So, we extend our thanks to Fastmarkets for creating a space for meaningful exchange.
More to come!
