At Global Grain Geneva 2024, topics such as the expansion of grain exports and the development of sustainable production became the foundation for productive negotiations and strategic decisions aimed at further growth for our company!
Key topics of the conference included issues related to the Black Sea region, price volatility, risk management in agribusiness, and sustainable development.
We not only attended the event but also actively participated as speakers. One of the highlights was a podcast featuring Yan Kozyrytskyi, CEO of Atria Brokers. In the podcast, he discussed the current challenges of the Ukrainian agricultural market and its development prospects in an innovative “quiet format.” Yan shared how Ukraine, despite the ongoing war, continues to effectively tackle challenges and maintain its export potential.
Another significant event was the panel discussion on the global corn market, moderated by Khrystyna Serebriakova, CEO of ASAP Agri (an analytical agency within the Atria Group). The discussion covered:
- China’s demand prospects for corn;
- With Jorge De Saja, General Director of the Spanish Feed Industry Federation, we explored Spain’s corn import development, including the potential for the U.S. to expand its share through EU approval of necessary GMO lines;
- With Koray Tüysüzoğlu, CEO of Erser Group Turkey, we analyzed the impact of Turkish inflation on the market;
- With Luiz Carlos dos Santos Jr., Director of SA Commodities, we reviewed corn storage capacities in Brazil;
- With Anis Alam, Chief of Grain Procurement at ARASCO, we discussed Saudi Arabia’s possible focus on corn imports from Argentina.
We are delighted to have provided valuable recommendations and shared insights across various platforms. It was also a pleasure to reconnect with long-time friends, partners, and new contacts to discuss collaboration opportunities.
